Greatest MINDS teams up with Emancipator and Boston University's Center for Antiracist Research. The team-up is a mutually inclusive goal to drive crucial conversations on the state of race and racism in America.

The Emancipator is more than just a magazine. It is a dynamic space where the voices of the movement, and its intersections, converge. By bringing together many different communities and ideas on a single platform, The Emancipator harnesses their collective power to drive positive and equitable change for all. Housed within Boston University’s Center for Antiracist Research, our newsroom produces award-winning multimedia content and commentary, as well as community events and experiences. The Emancipator is a nonprofit digital magazine that reimagines the nation’s first abolitionist newspapers for a new day. Our mission, like those who came before us, is to leverage the power of journalism to turn public opinion against racist policies and ideas. We expose the history, harms, and pervasiveness of racial inequity and injustice in all aspects of life, and explore solutions for its abolition. From health disparities and the wealth gap to climate inequality and police violence, The Emancipator is confronting the biggest racial justice issues of our time.
